You need to budget everything for your wedding and subtract that from your overall budget and that is how much you can spend on your wedding dress without going into debt. You could even make your very own wedding dress which will cost you little to nothing for the fabric. There are many handmade wedding dresses out there that are beautiful. If you or your mother or anyone else in the family can be or is a seamstress then I would say that you should make your own to make your wedding that much more special.
