Life insurance questions present a challenge

July 29th, 2010 by admin

Ploughing your way through a life insurance application can be quite challenging and can make sitting some exams look like a walk in the park. In fact despite the life insurance questions being related to you personally it can seem as though finding an answer to everything is beyond you. The most frustrating thing can be when you spend a prolonged amount of time answering every question only for the insurer to ask your doctor for your medical records which has all of this information on anyway. There often seems little reward for honesty as disclosing all of your medical information can lead to the insurer viewing you as an increased risk and subsequently turning you away or charging you an excessive premium. However any temptation to be selective with the truth would be unwise as in the end everything comes out in the wash and this could mean your application is unnecessarily turned down or a future claim denied.
