April 23th,2009 is our navy the sixtith founding anniversary.Actually our country will hold a grand maritime fleet review in Qingdao to celebrate this historic day.It’s said that seventeen warships from twelve countries were invited to join the spectacular parade tomorrow.In that moment our national and the committee of military chairman Hujintao will attend this unique ceremony.And our marine marshal named admiral Wushengli will lead and direct this peaceful parade of navy all the time. Unfortunately I am not a weapon expert or even military fan.And now that I have seen the Base of Olympic Sailing Race for several times.So I don’t think I have to visit this memorial meaningful spot at that occasion.But I still think it’s really an exciting and glorious moment for China, for all of us. As you know,because of the lack of military knowledge,it is very difficult for me to write more about this ceremony.But I recalled a past miserable event of our navy at this special while of today.Above all I am not good at history either.So I don’t want to popularize the history knowledge here to show off someting,But I still believe most of my dear friends remember it too.It’s the Sino-Japan War in JIAWU year.About one hundred years ago during the Qing dynasty period the North Ocean Fleet is one of the most powerful fleets for all over the world.The westernization movement(Sorry,don’t know how to exactly translate it) of patriotic personages made our country begin to prosper step by step during that period.But Japan army laid waste our fleet.that vile maguan pact not only robbed our precious wealth and broad territory but also destroy our national confidence to become powerful.That failure made our country fall back at least for twenty years.But by plundering our wealth and resource Japan turned into an utter capitalism country.So it could get rid of its own unfair regulations from the West and joined or organized twice great wars of world.In the meanwhile our China had suffered a lot of humiliations once more. I remember one said:Japan and the U.S had the war,after two decades they will be friendly;China and the U.S had the war,after three decades they still can become friendly also;but China and Japan had the war,they won’t be truly friendly even after one hundred years.Certainly I am not a member of extreme nationalism.I am not gonna disturb anything also.Today the theme of our period is peace and development.But there is a word I thought in my mind:We loathe the war,but we can’t forget the war for ever.
