After Effects of Panic Attack Disorder

February 19th, 2010 by admin

Panic attacks are characterized by irrational fear of things that don’t exist. Due to this fear, people who have these attacks tend to limit their lifestyle to protect themselves from the anxiety of a panic attack. They may stop going out of the house, stop socializing with people, stop going to school or the office.

To avoid these scary situations they experience they will isolate themselves and hide in a safe place. The symptoms of panic attacks can lead to more serious psychological disorders like agoraphobia or OCD if left untreated. Panic attack treatment is necessary to be able to cope with this disorder so that life can go on as normal as possible.
