Why my boss chose UltraVNC

When it was decided that we would be installing remote pc access software in the company computers, the task of selecting the specific software to install was delegated to me. This was not an easy task as I soon discovered that there is a huge variety of software to choose from.  When I brought my analysis of available software to the committee I am reporting to last week, there was quite a bit of discussion, mostly misinformed I am sorry to report, but my boss eventually ended the discussion by choosing UltraVNC because of its long history and the fact that it is offered free.
