The Worst Business Model

January 28th, 2010 by admin

Artists, writers, poets… Creatives have perhaps the worst business model there’s. Painting is known as a huge time purchase and you’ll need some serious inventory with no assurance that what you’re doing will sell. At least to start. One of my epiphanies came when I entered the limited edition print current market. Suddenly I was painting a single painting, but offering it many occasions. (Incedentally this does drive up the price from the original that is also nice.)But before I wax also philosophic, let me come back to my level. Solutions scale. So my crack team organized under my medical spa website is busy producing value by leveraging our expertise to take precise products to market.

Take Better Pictures With Your Digital Camera

January 27th, 2010 by admin

Today’s cameras make taking pictures a lot easier than the one’s of yesterday.  There is always room for improvement, however.  Use the following tips to help make your photos go from acceptable to great.1. Always be aware of the background. You don’t want to find trees growing out of people’s heads or a passing vehicle to draw attention from your subject.  Sometimes moving your subject just a couple steps to either side can make all the difference.2. Use available light. If your digital camera has an option to turn the flash off and it’s light enough outside to read a book then use the available light and turn the flash off. In general camera flashes are too harsh for human skin and make all of us look pale.  Indoors, where there isn’t enough daylight, place your subject by a window and use your fill flash feature.3.  Aim your camera slightly down at the person’s face.  Also don’t shoot just face on to the person, try a little to the side, a three quarter view, so that you see more of their face. Remember camera higher looking down and a three quarter view, it will slim your subject.4.   Remember your focus.  Get closer to your subject. Fill the frame with your subject and there will be no doubt as to what the picture is saying.6. Never put your subject dead center.  Put your just slightly off center; not a lot just a little. When you’re shooting  groups of people, find the imaginary center line of your group and put that line just a bit off center in your view through your lens or screen.Following these tips won’t turn you into an award-winning photographer today, but you will be on your way to better, more powerful photographs that others will comment on for years to come. sony digital camera

No More Wasted Security

January 26th, 2010 by admin

I have been having a heck of a time getting rid of some applications on my computer that are not just taking up space but they may actually even be hurting the efficiency of the system at this point. Is there a way to get rid of personal security that is a lot easier then the way I am doing it now? My next step is going through the computer one virtual file at a time to make sure that nothing is imprinted with a file that may be slowing down my computer. There has to be an easier way to do this.

Almost fell off the ladder today changing a light

January 26th, 2010 by admin

I was changing one of the bulbs in our old as Jesus house today and have to say it was a HUGE pain. Not only was the fixture rusted and extremely hard to get off, because it had probably not been touched in years but I could barely reach it. I stood on the top step (I know – not smart) and almost fell! I swear when I get a chance I’m going to replace it with r30 led bulbs so I won’t have to replace it for another 20 years or so. Yeah they’re a little expensive but I think it’s worth spending a little so I don’t have to risk breaking my neck everytim e I change a bulb.

Korean English Student

January 26th, 2010 by admin

I am a college student from South Korea. I am still trying to learn English. I am enrolled for an online English class with Filipino teachers. They are amazing and they challenge me to the fullest. I started the class as beginner. I can barely communicate with my teacher then. Now, I am a level three intermediate – the last level before I become an advanced student. My assignments are getting harder now. I have to come up with essays all the time and I have to rely on the online grammar checker. I am surviving, though. I am very proud of myself.

January 24th, 2010 by admin

My wife has worked as a detective for the county sheriffs department since I first met her seven years ago. At that time she was working as a homicide detective. After working there for two years she transferred because she was sick and tried of dealing with murder victims. The other night my wife and I went out with the Burkes. Both Neal and Andrea work for a company that make pos systems. They are both content with their jobs and they are always so calm about things. My wife and I really like them very much. They were one of the couples at our wedding.

My Site is Getting a Facelift

January 22nd, 2010 by admin

I was online last night and looking over my site, I was thinking it needed some updating but I just did not have the time to do it. As I left my site, I saw a small ad, website design San Jose and decided to give them a call to see what they could do for my site. They are supposed to get back to me by this evening to let me know what they will charge and what they can do. My site is definitely old fashioned looking but I simply do not have the time to make it look better than what it is now.

Aunt Marisol Said She Read An Excellent Kindle Review

January 20th, 2010 by admin

My Aunt Marisol is one of the more intelligent and charming women that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.  She is so well read that I know that anytime I have a question about a book or even a magazine, she will usually know the answer or at least she will know what I am talking about.  She has been the one who got me started on most of my favorite book series today, as a matter of fact.  She said that she read an excellent Kindle Review, and she thinks she might purchase one.  I think it is a smart pick for an avid reader like her.
