The school that benefits by my mother’s presense

I took my mother on a hot balloon ride this past weekend at Granger county park. The park does this once a year around mother’s day. Despite the struggling economy lots of people treated their mother’s and others to a hot balloon ride. My mother had a marvelous time once she got use to the concept of going up. My mother really deserves good things coming into her life. For the past few years she has been giving lots of her free time to the Charter school that is down on Elmwood Avenue. She has been a solid resource for the school.

The Hardest Thing Is To Write Eulogy Speeches

My dad is really sad this week. His best friend passed away suddenly. They had served in the military together, after going to school together. They were the best of friends, they were together every day. They always played charades on Saturday nights, and now his weekends will be empty. Then the family asked if he could write eulogy speeches for the service and the funeral itself. He is honored, but it really is hard when you are mourning yourself. He said he would do it, and i now he will do a good job. I just hate to see him so very sad.

My Daughter Should Get Into This

My sister was saying that her son was going to study abroad for a couple of months and how she was so proud of him. I was happy for her, but then I started thinking about my daughter and how she wants to travel as well. I thought about how this is something she should really be looking into and get on. She has been talking about traveling the world since she was a little girl and hasn’t stopped since. The only other place she has been to is Canada and she loved it there, and would love to go back and visit.

What Are Some Interesting Facts About Onions?

Jennifer was preparing dinner. Her best friend Susan was helping her. Susan asked Jennifer what she would like her to do to help. Jennifer asked Susan if she would like to dice up some onions for her. Susan told her that would be fine, and she got the onion out of the refrigerator and started to prepare it for dicing. As soon as Susan started dicing the onion’s tears started streaming down her cheeks. Jennifer asked Susan if she knew about the interesting facts about chewing gum while dicing onions?  She told Susan that it helps keep tears from flowing. Susan told Jennifer she had not heard about that.

A bit of time to put some dollars aside

A couple of years ago we had been looking around at south african property for sale but at the time the prices were too high for us to be able to afford, now however, the prices are at a reasonable level so we are back on the hunt for our new home. As well as the market dropping a bit, we have also been able to us the time that has passed to put a few more dollars aside and we are now in a much better position to go to the bank for the remaining amount. We already have our eyes on a couple of places but we will see what happens with that and if they are in our price bracket.
