The learn forex concepts I should learn

Last night I was looking at some mutual funds that my friend Snyder told me about a couple of weeks ago. They were of the small-cap variety and he has done very well despite the fact that the whole market tanked last year. He also said I should take the time to learn Forex. He said he’s done very well in this area and hopes to continue to make a lot of money in the Forex in the future. Basically I really do not understand most of the financial markets and I rely upon the advice of friends. I don’t have a problem with this as I trust my friends.
