Cheaper Car Insurance — Poor Safety Rating; Higher Premiums
January 15th, 2010 by admin
There are many ways to dirt cheaper car insurance. But while some of them may save you some money, they could leave you with insufficient coverage. I do NOT generally support such ways since they make nonsense of the main purpose of insurance in the first place. So, I will only give you one more way that will also have you adequately covered in spite of saving you much…
A vehicle with a higher safety rating will get you better rates than one with a poorer rating all other things being equal. Go for vehicles that have features that improve safety. Such mechanisms attract a big discount. Examples of such safety features are air bags, automatic seatbelt, ABS brakes and daytime running lights. To get more information on this and how much savings you’ll realize by fixing them, discuss with your insurance agent.
