My grandfather is a cranky old soul, who despite his failing health absolutely refused to allow any assistance with his daily hygiene such as taking a bath for a shower. We later learned it was because he didn’t have the confidence to the negotiators bathtub that he was getting a little rank smelling as he didn’t need as often as he should have. However as Dr. convinced him to part with some cash and purchase one of those Bathtub Lifts. I think we need to personally thank our doctor as there is no doubt that grandpa smells a whole lot better now than he did a few months ago.

I See Things Turning Around For Us

My husband was telling me today that he was approved for this job he was looking to get. He was telling me that they were happy to have a cargo screening employee on hand in the airports. I was happy now that my husband has employment and that fact that it’s something he knows how to do. He worked for another airport doing the same thing a year ago and then we moved because of family. Now we are back on our feet and well I see things really turning around for us. I wonder what my husband wants for lunch when he starts his new job.

Fruitless protest

My school has gone crazy they have decided to completely over haul the canteen menu and take out everything we love such as burgers and chips and replace them with mountains of fruit and vegetables as part of some eat 5 a day scheme that the government is pushing them into introducing because of the amount of fat kids in America. I don’t want to spend my lunch money on this rubbish but there seems to be little alternative other than starve to death in some sort of protest which I have no doubt will be completely and utterly fruitless, excuse the pun there!

Going to the Chapel

We have nice hard wood floors in all our rooms of the house, but the floor was so hard and cold that I had to get area rugs. I am terrified of ruining them as they were rather expensive and I never know what to do about taking care of their treatment and care.
