My lower back problems were really interfering with my life. In addition to severe lower back pain, I had very restricted movement; I walked with a limp, and had a very difficult time getting a good nights sleep. I also had a hard time doing my job. I was a patient at Chiropractic Manchester NH about 1 years ago, and was very happy with the results I had received then, so I came back in he told me that I had a compressed disc in my lower back and some spinal misalignment. After less than a month of care, I have experienced marked improvement in how well I can move, I no longer walk with a limp, have no more leg pain remaining, and my lower back continues to improve. I have truly improved quality of life, and I expect this improvement to continue.

Taking It One Step At a Time

My husband has been researching insulated windows to help us saving on our energy bills. I know that he’s looked into several companies including Sungate Energy Solutions, but he hasn’t made a decision yet. We want to eventually go with a solar energy home, but that’s not feasible right now for us. We simply don’t have the money to do that at this point. However, we’d like to take our income tax returns each year and do something towards making our home more energy efficient and environmentally safe. I think whatever we do will also make the house have a better re-sale value in case we do sell it.

PTA Meeting

Yesterday I went to a PTA meeting at my daughters school. They discussed several important things, such as changes in after school curricular activities, new policies for the school library, and whether or not our children should be allowed to carry their back packs from class to class. On my way out of the school, I noticed a teacher wearing an absolutely gorgeous watch that I just had to have. I asked her where she got it from and she told me that it is a Toywatch, and I could see what they have available online, and that there are several stores in our area that carry them.

Construction Environmental Plan

Rumor had it that a new water park was going to be built near where I live.  Some people were excited and others were concerned.  Permission was given for two contractors to devise a construction environmental plan.  However, at a town meeting, a group opposing the water park was allowed to give a presentation.  The group documented that at least thirty bald eagles have made the targeting site their home!  They showed a video of the eagles and expressed great concern destroying the natural environment.  The eagles are an endangered species and thus, there will be no water park, at least not at that site.

Grief and Support

Death in the family is painful. But I never imagined or thought that my family would go through a different level of pain when my younger brother was killed in a freak accident. At 16 years of age, he was the light of the family. He was the one person that can make me laugh even when I’m terribly pissed. He made our parents so happy. He was a cheerful teenager who was well loved by family and friends. And now he’s gone. And we’re all lost. The wake and funeral passed by so quickly that I went through everything with a numb feeling. Lucky for us, there were a lot of people who stepped up. Up until now, our relatives are helping us cope to the point that my cousins are the ones who sent the funeral thank you notes.

I had a bad accident.

After he graduated from college and the Chiropractic school, he received his license. I started going to him at once, I was so certain he would be successful. At the time Chiropractic in Maitland FL moved into his present establishment, I had a bad accident. I was standing on a step ladder in my garage, reaching up to attach a hanging plant to a nail in the ceiling. The ladder had one leg shorter than the others. It tipped over and I crashed onto the concrete, severely injuring my neck. In my mind I only had one recourse, and that was to see him. He worked on my neck until it healed. I decided then I would go to his clinic every month, for the rest of my life. He made me feel so good. I live in my own home, do all of my own work, drive my car, cook, bake, garden and attend every event plus exercising.

I am Rosana G. Peebles and I am a physical therapist aide. I recently took a trip to Totowa NJ to visit a friend of mine who plays World of Warcraft. In World of Warcraft, there are 3 end-game raids: Icecrown Citadel, Ruby Sanctum, and perhaps Trial of Grand Champions. My friend in particular had just finished a run through the Trial of Grand Champions when I had arrived. When I asked her what dropped, she replied, “A bunch of clothy stuff, nothing big”. That was unfortunate, as I was hoping she’d get the bow to drop for her hunter.

I Wish We Had Gotten Our Flu Vaccines

My family is quite busy most of the time. I have four children, a husband, four dogs, and a bird. My husband and I both work full-time. One of my daughters attends eight dance classes a week. The other daughter goes to Chinese school two nights a week. The two youngest children are under the age of two and attend daycare as well as go to a playgroup twice per week. My husband works overtime most days of the week. I realize that these really are just excuses as to why we did not get our Flu Vaccines this year. Whatever the reason, none of us got the vaccine and we are all now sick with the flu! I sure wish we had taken the time to get vaccinated against this horrible disease!
